NEW!  Polar Parent Prep Team

Our Frost teachers work tirelessly to educate our children.  The last thing we want them doing is standing in front of a copy machine when they could be planning, researching, preparing, and collaborating to support each and every one of our amazing kids!  This year, we would like to develop a plan that can eliminate some of the copy, cut, laminate, fold and staple time that eats up the valuable planning hours for many.

Join us at the PTO meeting February, 4th at 6:30pm to learn more about how you can turn an hour of volunteer time into the wonderful gift of time for a Frost Teacher.  Earn bonus points for your child’s participation relay!  Win-win!

Stay tuned for more details here!

PTO Meetings:

Member meetings will generally be held every-other month on the first Tuesday at 6:30 pm at Robert Frost School. All parents of Frost students are welcome. Childcare will be available.

PAST EVENTS:

Indoor Recess – Ready, Set, Go!

We are so excited to share that on January 24th, PTO provided each classroom with a $40-$50 bag of indoor recess supplies selected by each classroom teacher.  The bulk of items included legos, magnetic blocks, board games, card games, and other building toys.  The winter season is long and we are happy to be able to help our children enjoy a break from studies to connect, play and socialize, even when the weather is yucky.

Penguin Patch

Children at Frost eagerly shopped for little gifts for their friends and families this December.  They bought pens, hats, notebooks, statues, jewelry, and more to give as gifts over winter break.   This year’s Penguin Patch Holiday shop raised over $600 to support PTO initiatives this year. Thank you for allowing your children to participate in this exciting opportunity for them, which also supports our school.

Big Win at the Bake Sale!

Thank you to all those that donated, worked, or bought goodies at our October Bake Sale.  PTO was able to raise over $600 to help keep field trip costs low and support other programs and initiatives.  It was really a huge success!

Thank you to the nearly 70 families and teachers that came to our first Family Night Out at Culver’s on September 24th.  We know many more zipped through the drive through and we appreciate that as well!

The raffle winner was Francisco from Mrs. Cruce’s Classroom.  Congrats!

We loved spending the evening with so many Frost Families!

The imagine relay participation board was updated.  Lots of classrooms had attendance last night.

Contact Michele Yanong at 847-302-2852  if you have ideas for upcoming Restaurant Nights or if you would like to volunteer at those events.
